Darenn is quite tall man, with a light skin tone and a decently average body-build. Despite being a polite and mannerful man, his grey hair can be decribed as messy, with multiple strands sticking out all over the place. His eyes are a dark brown, appearing black from a distance. His attire is quite formal, consisting of a d, bark-greenuttoned-up suit, green pants with a grey belt, black shoes and a green scarf present around his neck. In front of his eyes, though never actually covering them, are his black glasses. He regularly walks around with a cane, which can be used for melee combat if need be, though never for serious battles.


Background:

Darenn, from as long as he can remember, was cared for by over-protective parents. Either that, or they simply did not want him to scocialise with others. So, he spent most of his life in his luxurious house, tutored by his parents. Despite saying how much they loved him, how proud of him they were, Darenn always felt...imprisoned. As if this house, this wonderful, rich, family, was simply a cage, keeping him from the otuside world.

Because, despite being born to a polite, mannerful and generally intelligent family, this boy was naive. He wanted more than just money, more than luxury. But he would wait. He would wait because he had no other choice. He would play the part of the young, respectable boy. But, after years of acting, this "part" left a little seed within him, that would remain a part of him forever.

Years later, his family would finally give him the chance to be something. Look for a job. Wanting adventure and fun, he joined the military. He guessed it was the best place for him.

He was wrong.

Though it is true, throughout his time in the military, he did make friends. Quite a few. But they would all disappear, for their own reasons. They simply did not want anything to do with Darenn. This changed him, gave him a different view of the world. People were not nice, not polite, not friends. That was just the role they all played. Every once in a while, people would appear who really did want to be friends. But he was stupid, and believed that it was just an act.

So, after more years, he finally quit the army, being a changed man. But the emptiness, the lonliness, would catch up to him eventually. Years would pass where his life was nothing. Just day after day filled with lonliness. Then, one day, in his house, whilst he lay pondering in his thoughts, he realised that humans are not supposed to live like this. Social creatures should stand together, united.

And that`s when he decided to unite people, to bring them together so they would not live an empty life that he did. And to do that, he would have to become President of Ae.


Personality: Darenn is a very polite man, often speaking with respect, yet also has a hint of authority in his tone. Despite sometimes appearing to be a no-nosense type of person, the man can tolerate a certain level of playfulness from time to time. As president, he cares highly for people from all walks of life, and is a merciful person. However, at the same time, it is his duty to defend his people, and he will do whatever is necessary to do so. He is very intelligent, but never boasts, and can be quite modest and humble at times. In addition, he also appears to be impossible to anger.

_Acquired Powers_

1. Name: 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva

Effect: This is Darenn`s basic ability, and the one used most commonly throughout his battles. It involves the man emitting a gigantic statue using Nen which bares resemblance to a statue of Guanyin with a multitude arms. This statue remains looming over Darenn, attacking it`s foes with blistering speeds. However, in order to attack, Darenn must first perform hand motions, which the statue will imitate. This means that only a maximum of two hands may attack at the same instant.

Each attack performed by this statue has +30 magical power, and moves at +50 speed

2. Name: Ninety-Ninth Hand

Effect: After performing a symbol with his hands that looks like the number "99", the Guantin Statue will proceed to strike it`s target with all it`s 99 hands, each moving at very high speeds. This assault continues for two posts, but may be stopped before if need be.

This ability deals +50 Magic  and moves at +50 speed. This ability has a four post cooldown.

3. Name: Zero Hand

Effect: This is Darenn`s last resort ability, only meant to be used when he cannot use any other abilities. After clapping his hands together, praying with all his heart. The Guanyin Statue then appears behind it`s foe, clapsing two of it`s hands around them at a high speed, whilst Darenn focuses every last ounce of nen in preparation for the attack. Next, the Guanyin opens it`s mouth, releasing the entirety of Darenn`s nen as a merciless roar, an incredibly powerful blast of energy which can deal immense damage to anyone hit. This ability cannot be used until 8 posts into the fight.

This ability has +100 magical power, and +50 speed, with a cooldown of eight posts

Air Walk: Darenn has retained the ability to stand on air as if it were a solid surface.


Nen Blast: Darenn can blast a wave of nen at his foe that, whilst dealing little damage, has immense force and can push people great distances away.

Ten: One of the basic Nen abilities is Ten, an ability which allows the user`s Nen to flow around their body, effectively creating a shield from mental attacks. However, this ability does next to nothing to protect one from physical attacks.


Zetsu: This ability allows the user to stop the flow of their Nen altogether which, while decreasing their defences, makes their bodies more sensetive to energy and increasing their senses. This ability lowers the user`s defence and magical defense by 10, but increases their sense by +10.


Ren: Another basic principle of Nen, Ren is the exact opposite of Ten. The user is able to produce aura around their bodies without it leaking away, increasing their physical offense and defense. This ability increases the user`s strength and Defense by +20

History: After deciding he wished to help the people of Ae, he ran for president shortly after the old one stepped down. After a long campain, his speeches about protecting the people and helping others allowed him to win, making him the new president of Ae. He has been president for over a year now.
