Backstory:

Damasu used to be in care of a mysterious gentleman who took him in as his "apprentice". He can't really remember how it went, but they both got along well. The man was an ace detective, and Damasu really looked at him with googly eyes all the time. He worked as his assistant for a long time, and gained experience in the business. After his guardian passed away on a car accident (Damasu was 15) while heading home, the boy took over his business as a freelance detective and started helping people with investigations, for those who needed it. Experience in the business led to him eventually taking up a job at the Reconnaissance Squad, seeing as all the Official Detective positions were full.
